sturdily potted with a pear-shaped body supported on a stepped spreading foot and surmounted by a tall neck and galleried rim, the body and neck encircled by an archaistic band with zoomorphic appliqué-decoration against an incised keyfret ground, covered overall in a transparent ivory-tinged white glaze.

 

Provenance: Acquired from Edward T. Chow (1910-80) in the late 1960s.
