With generously rounded sides tapering to a recessed base, gathered to a broad ridge at the top beneath an arc-shaped handle rising from the back of the flask to the short upright cylindrical spout with lipped rim, decorated with three raised filets running low across the wide sides and front, and gathered below the spout, each bordered by impressed rings imitating rivets, covered with an unctuous white glaze pooling to a greenish tone in the recesses and terminating in an uneven line around the unglazed foot, the glazed base incised with the character guan.
