An overglaze yellow and underglaze blue lotus bouquet plate - Yongzheng Mark and Period

The floor of its wide curving well filled with a ribbon-tied spray of lotus blossoms, the cavetto surrounded by a band of seasonal flower heads and leaf scrolls beneath a well-painted xiangcai band all in underglaze blue against the lemon yellow ground that continues on the reverse surrounding futher decorative bands along the walls and around the six-character mark in regular script inscribed within a double ring (restored). 8 1/2in (20.5cm) diameter - Estimate: $8,000 - 12,000
