A rhinoceros horn carved wine cup - 18th century
Carved with foliate sides rising from a short foot forming a shallow cup, carved on the exterior with taotie masks against leiwen in low relief, with two flat ear handles, the surface of warm chestnut brown tone. 11.7cm (4¾in) wide. Estimate: £3,000 - 5,000
