WHITE MAGIC

White diamonds offer a breathtaking landscape across areas of cut, colour, clarity and carat weight where the magic of these extraordinary stones rests upon a wonderful interplay of these features. The marvelous round stones, as offered by Lots 2341 and 2342, weigh 16.04 and 12.15 carats each and are perfect examples of the finest white diamonds. The modern round brilliant is the most popular cut for diamonds as its geometry is specifically calibrated to maximize the reflection and refraction of light. Perfected by a mathematical precision, their facets ensure that the diamond displays stunning brilliance. The present pair of round diamonds exhibits just such desirability, showing the most proportionate balance of brightness and scintillation, as well as dispersion of its spectral colours. With excellent polish and excellent symmetry, both stones are rated excellent for its cut grade by the GIA. These superior characteristics are complemented by top-end clarity so that the passage of light continues uninterrupted. While the GIA has awarded a Flawless clarity grade for the 12.15-carat diamond, the 16.04-carat diamond is determined a VVS2 with a working diagram indicating that the stone is Potentially Flawless. With dazzling GIA D-colour icy whiteness, these classic round stones are priceless. Such large and perfectly round diamonds are extremely limited in the market today and remain unequalled in terms of properties and price.
