A carved bamboo 'prunus blossom' brushwasher - 18th century
Fashioned in the round with great detail as a gnarled prunus sprig with buds and blossoms in various stages of development, the largest blossom with unfurling petals forming the receptacle, the dark honey-toned material with a rich patina. 17cm (6 5/8in) long. (2).
