Note: Probably the most colorful bat in the world, the Painted Bat will roost in nearly any cavity, including the spaces between leaves and flowers, and in bird nests. It may roost alone or in small groups of up to six bats. Nocturnal, Painted Bats become active after dark, and forage above low vegetation.
