A Large 'Langyao' bottle Vase. Qing Dynasty, 18th / 19th Century
The globular body below a tall, slightly waisted neck rising to a flared lip, all on a high, slightly flared foot, the body with a red glaze the color of crushed strawberries, pooling to a darker tone at the foot, the upper neck and lip white with a tinge of celadon, as is the underside of the foot, slight golden-brown at the lip, golden-brown tinged craquelure overall, carved wood stand (2) - height 15 in., 38 cm - Estimate: 8,000—12,000 USD
