A pair of ruby and diamond pendent earrings

Each lozenge-shaped cluster drop set with a central oval-cut ruby, weighing 5.34 and 5.20 carats respectively, within a border of old cushion-shaped diamonds and smaller old brilliant-cut diamond points, suspended from a similarly-cut diamond surmount, diamonds approximately 12.00 carats total, length 4.4cm., fitted case by S.J.Phillips Ltd, London - Estimate: £40,000 - 45,000

Accompanied by two Laboratoire Français De Gemmologie reports, each stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, with no evidence of heat treatment. Report numbers 182561 and 182562, both dated 29th October 2007.
