A Fine Cloisonne Enamel Tripod Censer And Cover. Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period
of compressed spherical form rising to an everted gilt bronze rim decorated with a band of key-fret, with two vertical loop handles, the body decorated with a Indian lotus flowers borne on curly leafy vines on a turquoise ground, the gilt bronze pierced cover finely chased with two dragons chasing flaming pearls, below a rounded knop decorated with cloud scroll. 15.2cm., 6in. Estimate 6,000—8,000 GBP
