An Italian ivory and turtleshell inlaid table cabinet, probably Neapolitan. mid 17th century

the concave-sided raised top with two mirrors and inlaid with roundels and ovoloes above a pair of doors inlaid with geometric motifs, the inside of the doors with an octagonal mirror enclosing an architectural interior with a central niche with a broken pediment flanked by two further niches and various drawers, on a platform base and bun feet, the whole with ripple-cut mouldings. 100cm. high, 110cm. wide, 45cn, deep; 3ft. 3in., 3ft.7in., 1ft.5¼in.
