A Zhejiang celadon glazed stoneware tripod censer. Ming Dynasty

Thickly potted with a wide rim flange above the waisted neck, its shallow bowl-shaped body raised on three spreading feet, the densely crackled glaze displaying some russet staining and covering most surfaces except a russet-burnt patch to the center of the well and the circular boss protruding from the base (filled firing cracks through body). 13 1/2in (34cm) diameter - Estimate: $4,000 - 6,000 - Unsold.
