24-jewel Cal:27-70 Q movement stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, satiné dial with applied white gold Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, 24 hour and leap year indication, graduation for the date, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases, white gold Breguet hands, polished case with concave lugs, transparent case back and sapphire crystals fitted Patek Philippe leather strap with 18ct white gold Patek Philippe deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed. 37mm x 45mm. Footnote: The Ref:5020 was made between 1995 and 2001 and is fitted with caliber 27-70Q movement, like the famous Ref 3970. (See lot 308 in this sale) Due to its unusual shape and its similarity with the more traditional 3970, it was not produced in such large numbers. The Ref:5020 was available in yellow, pink, and white gold, as well as platinum.
