A Large Famille Rose Baluster Vase. Qianlong Mark, 18th Century
of flattened ogee section, painted to each face with a large panel enclosing a scholar and assistant in a garden under a pine tree and a lady seated with two children under a pine tree, above a smaller shaped panel of retreats amongst trees in a mountainous river landscape, all reserved on a raised dot turquoise-ground with flowers, with a thin band of diaper in underglaze-blue at the foot and below the rim. 52.5cm., 20 5/8 in.
