With tapering single-edged blade of wootz steel retaining a pronounced watered pattern, the hilt of characteristic shape encrusted with gold flowers on both sides between gold beaded bands of running flowers and foliage, and inset with a single turquoise bead, in its fabric-covered wooden scabbard (light wear, the scabbard fabric rubbed and frayed). 13 3/8in (34cm).
