An Iznik 'Spider's Web' pottery Dish. Turkey, 17th Century

of shallow form with sloping sides, underglaze, decorated in green, blue and black outline on a white ground with a central floral rosette surrounded by a web, within a border of geometric and floral motifs, verso with alternating floral rosettes. 28 cm. diam. Sold for £5,040
