A garnet, chrysoberyl and enamel Holbeinesque pendant, circa 1870
Set to the centre with a cabochon garnet, within an opaque champlevé enamel border in shades of blue, green, red, black and white and six square-cut chrysoberyls, terminating in a lozenge-shaped chrysoberyl drop, mounted in gold, the reverse with glazed compartment and engraved foliate motifs, length 7.7cm, fitted leather case by W & E Mimpriss, 32 Davies Street, Berkeley Square.
