The thinly-potted body with gently-rounded sides covered with a vibrant lemon-yellow glaze, stopping at the foot ring. 8cm (3in) diam. Sold for £14,400

Palmer Inventory no.242, where it is stated that the saucer was purchased in 1931 for £6.10s.
A very similar pair of saucers from the Meiyintang Collection is illustrated by R. Krahl, Chinese Ceramics from the Meiyintang Collection, London, 1994, Vol.II, Catalogue no.909, where it is noted that such saucers would have probably been used with matching bowls, such as lot 51.
