A celadon-glazed russet-splashed tripod censer, Song/Yuan Dynasty

The compressed globular body supported by three stout legs, incised with three shaped panels enclosing floral diapers, the neck with two stylised scrolls, rising to an everted rim, decorated overall with an olive-green glaze and iron-oxide splashes. 15.6cm (6¼in) high. Sold for £6,000
