A large celadon-glazed tripod censer. Early Ming Dynasty
Standing on three animal-mask feet, moulded to the exterior of the shallow curving body with the eight trigrams below a band of scrolling foliage, with a band of bosses below the inward-curving rim, covered with an olive-green glaze, stopping short at the centre of the interior and the base. 31.5cm (12½in) diam.
