Of tied bow design, set with circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds, suspending a detachable pearl pendant, the cupola mount set with rose-cut stones, signed G. Confalonieri Milano. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 53493 stating that the pearl is natural. Est. 25,000—35,000 CHF. Lot Sold 31,250 CHF
PROVENANCE: Property of a princely family with both German and Liechtenstein origins.
NOTE: The Milanese firm Confalonieri was one of the Crown jewellers to both king Vittorio-Emanuele II (1820-1878) and king Umberto I (1844-1900) of Italy. It also had a branch in Rome.
