The cushion-shaped sapphire, weighing 12.02 carats, within an oval-cut diamond surround and trifurcated shoulders set with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18k white gold, diamonds approximately 3.00 carats total, ring size 5¾. Sold for HK$168,000

Note: Accompanied by a gemological report from the Gemresearch Swisslab, stating that the sapphire is natural vivid blue (GRS type "royal blue"), originates from Sri Lanka and has been enhanced by heat. Report number GRS2009-031209, dated 6th March 2009.
