A fine jadeite cabochon and diamond necklace

Set to the front with double row of intense green jadeite oval cabochon and brilliant-cut diamond clusters, connected by rose-cut diamond links, the backchain designed as a sinuous vine of brilliant-cut diamonds, with a pavé-set diamond floral motif with rose-cut diamond stamen at each side, mounted in 18k white gold, diamonds approximately 11.00 carats total, necklace length 44.5cm. Sold for HK$1,200,000

Accompanied by a report from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory, stating that the selected cabochon is natural jadeite and no resin was detected. Report number KJ 41748, dated 12th March 2009.
