Yaozhou celadon glazed stoneware bowl with carved decoration. Jin/Yuan Dynasty
Potted with a canted rim flange above combed waves surrounding a carved flower sprig across its deep curving well, the glossy olive green glaze unevenly applied across the interior and exterior walls, and a small amount also visible on the cinnamon-burnt surface of the recessed base. 5 1/2in (14cm) diameter. Estimate: $3,000 - 5,000
