A Chinese blue and white 'dragon' vase. Kangxi (1662-1722)

The slender baluster sides painted with a large writhing dragon clasping the 'sacred' pearl in one claw amongst firing cloud scrolls, the slightly flaring neck encircled by bands of ruyi, clouds, keyfret and jewels, small glaze crack. 46.6 cm. high. Est. €6,000 - €9,000

A Chinese blue and white rouleau vase. Kangxi (1662-1722)

The cylindrical body painted with a continuous river landscape with steep rocks, a solitary figure seated on an outcrop, three other figures walking up a hill, the slender neck with keyfret-, whorl- and ruyi bands beneath the galleried mouth, body cracks. 46 cm. high. Est. €4,000 - €6,000

The cylindrical sides painted with a bearded figure with chest exposed and running with a satchel across a garden, another figure handing a small parcel, all below a ruyi-, whorl- and dentil borders on the slender neck beneath a galleried mouth, rim restoration. 45.6 cm. high. Comprising a pair of plates decorated to the centre with a butterfly hovering between chrysanthemum and peony, bordered by a high fluted well and wavy rim, painted with panels of flowers, 26 cm. diam.; and a pair of plates painted with a large central roundel of scattered flowers, surrounded by moulded floral panels, a band of flower-heads to the rim, Kangxi six character mark, 20.7 cm. diam, some frits (4) Est. €1,500 - €2,000

A slender oviform jar decorated with washed-blue ground lappet borders to the shoulder and base between flower sprays, cover glued, 26 cm. high; an oviform jar and cover with vertically ribbed sides, painted with floral roundels and bands, 22.5 cm. high; and a compressed globular incense burner decorated with a washed-blue cracked-ice pattern ground reserved with prunus, 23.2 cm. diam. (3) Est. €1,000 - €1,500
