Grand succès pour la vente de Haute Joaillerie chez Sotheby’s

Genève, 11 mai 2010, la vente organisée chez Sotheby’s à Genève a remporté un grand succès totalisant 59.995.700 CHF (42.411.883 €) contre une estimation de 35.9 à 51.1M CHF (25.2/35.9M€) soit 87.9% des lots vendus, 96.6% en valeur, et 74% des lots qui ont dépassé leur estimation haute. Once in a Lifetime Jade Collection Sells for £2.3M at Bonhams Fine Chinese Art Sale Which Totalled £6.6M in London

A breathtaking collection of jades sold as part of Bonhams Fine Chinese Art Sale on May 13 in New Bond Street achieved astronomic prices in a frenzy of bidding. The 35 jades made £2.3m in a sale total of £6.6m with 94% by value. Colin Sheaf, International Head of Asian Art at Bonhams, and the sale's auctioneer, said after the sale: "It is very unusual to have such a large jade collection of the highest quality all at one time for sale. Rare Roman Marble Relief Leads Christie's Auction of Antiquities

NEW YORK, NY.- Christie's announced the sale of Antiquities on June 10, which will offer over 150 lots with a stunning selection of Roman marbles, Greek helmets and vases, and Egyptian art.
