Modelled as a Chinaman and a Lady both sitting cross-legged, their generous bellies filling their robes which are painted with formal coloured flowers and insects, the nodding heads with separate moving tongues, their hands also waving up and down, 30cm and 31cm high, cancelled crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, incised model numbers 2883 and 2884 (minor chip) (2) Sold for £15,600
