The tiara designed as a graduating knifewire spray of old brilliant-cut diamond dart motifs, surmounted by cushion-shaped sapphire and old brilliant-cut diamond clusters alternating with single old brilliant-cut diamonds, on a scrolling frame of old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds, with a central sapphire and diamond cluster, mounted in silver and gold, detachable to form a fringe necklace with diamond backchain, height at tallest point 5.7cm. Of oval form, the central cushion-shaped sapphire within an openwork quatrefoil border decorated with old brilliant-cut diamonds, four bouton pearls, and red and green enamel foliate motifs, within a further green enamel border and scalloped frame of old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds and cushion-shaped rubies, suspending a detachable old brilliant-cut diamond, enamel and pearl drop, pearls untested for natural origin, pendant length 7.4cm. Estimate: £4,000 - 6,000
