The pendant set with a large cushion-shaped yellow sapphire beneath an articulated buckle-shaped surmount pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, suspended from a slightly graduated single-strand cultured pearl necklace, the 8.0-8.9mm., cultured pearls of aubergine tint, highlighted at intervals with pavé-set brilliant-cut diamond roundels and spheres, diamonds approximately 7.50 carats total, yellow sapphire untested, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay marks, length 44.8cm.
