The first a second rank golden pheasant worked in polychrome thread counted stitch and gilt couched threads; the second badge applied with a fourth rank wild goose, the surfaces worked in polychrome threads couching gold and silver-wrapped threads; then a pair of badges applied with third rank pheasants, also worked in polychrome threads couching gold and silver-wrapped threads; the last a pair of fifth rank lophura applied onto badges of smaller size, also worked with polychrome threads couching gold and silver-wrapped threads (all with wear); 8 1/4 to 11 5/8in (21 to 29.5cm) high - Estimate: $1,000 - 1,500

The first centered with a lion of the second rank worked in red, green and gilt-wrapped couching threads; then a pair of smaller rectangular badges applied with the fourth rank tiger with metallic gold and silver-wrapped threads couched with polychrome silk threads; then two circular rank badges centered with fourth rank tigers worked in dark blue, silver and gilt-wrapped threads couched with polychrome threads; the sixth a fifth rank bear applied onto a rectangular rank badge, all in gilt and polychrome couched threads (all with some wear); 7 5/8 to 11 3/4in (19.5 to 30cm) high - Estimate: $1,000 - 1,500
