The shallow rounded sides rising to a flaring rim, painted to the interior in vibrant yellow, turquoise, green and aubergine enamels with branches of ripening peach and pomegranate, the centre incised with a five-clawed dragon chasing a 'flaming pearl' amidst fire scrolls, the well with two similar dragons, the exterior painted with branches of peony and camellia, two further incised dragons and a band of lotus panels above the foot
