The pendant composed of a carved jadeite plaque, circa 1900, depicting scholar's ornaments and auspicious emblems, surmounted by a geometric platinum openwork plaque set with single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.05 carats, and onyx tablets, suspended from a white gold chain composed of jadeite beads measuring approximately 4.5 mm, and white gold links applied with black enamel, length 20 inches.
