Raised on three paw feet, the flower bud knop rising from a molded gadroon border, the arms once on the cover. Width 12.7 cm. With Louis XV Royal Arms of France - Price on application.
Literature: This spice box and cover come from a service ordered for Louis XV (1710-Versailles-1774) King of France and of Navarre, also known as The Beloved . This particular shape was inspired by models produced at both St. Cloud and Rouen.
