A similar pair of bowls of this unusual size and with the extremely rare incised reign mark, from the collection of Mr and Mrs Alfred Clark, included in the Oriental Ceramic Society exhibition of Monochrome Porcelain of the Ming and Manchu Dynasties, London, 1948, cat. no. 169, was sold in these rooms, 17th May 1988, lot 3.
