Fantastic tastefully encrusted Blackamoor pin created by NARDI, a Venetian jeweler famous for his blackamoor brooches depicting the head and shoulders of a turbaned Moor of Venice. Giulio Nardi, the Nardi’s founder began creating blackamoors in the early 20's and they became very popular in the late 1920’s - early 1930’s. The Nardi's blackamoors are highly collectible. The piece comes in the original Nardi's box.
