The sides enameled with Qilin perched on rockwork above a turbulent sea alternating with vases of fruits and flowers, all on a scrolling lotus ground on a red field below a diaper band at the shoulder, and leaf tip, jeweled and diaper bands at the neck, base with Kangxi six-character mark. Height 18 inches. Estimate $4,000-6,000

The ovoid body set on a high foot and rising to a bulb mouth, painted with figures in a landscape setting below bamboo between a band of prunus blossom on a cracked ice ground at the foot and a floral border at the rim, base with underglaze blue double circle. Height 16 1/4 inches. 1 inch area on interior of foot rim that was misfired, rough section. Otherwise very good condition. Estimate $1,800-2,400
