Carved around the sides with a band of taotie masks reserved on a leiwen ground, the handle formed by two clambering chilong, the larger reaching over into the interior as it bites the rim, which is incised with a further band of key fret, the horn of rich honey color; 6 in. (15.3 cm.) long, box. Estimate $100,000 - $150,000. Price Realized $290,500
