Shallow and molded in the form of eight barbed petals radiating from a central stylized flower head, each petal with a bat overlapping the scrolling leaves of a lotus spray, all within a ruyi band around the rim, with further lotus sprays on the sides of the box, all incised in a white slip and covered with a widely crackled clear glaze, the interior and base similarly covered in a white slip and clear glaze; 4¾ in.
