of circular form, the robustly potted body supported by a short slightly tapered foot, the centre of the interior carved with a foliate form trellis- diaper panel, all encircled by a band of meandering lotus scroll on the cavetto on both sides, rising to an everted rim further decorated with a leafy scroll, covered overall with a glaze of olive-green tone except for the unglazed ring on the underside burnt orange in the firing.
