Of well potted flared form standing on a slightly tapering foot of rounded section, the exterior decorated in copper-red of deep mushroom pink colour with three fish, the interior undecorated. Good condition. D. 15,2 cm.. Estimate 35 000 / 50 000 €

The stone of nearly flawless clarity, carved in the form of an archaic goat standing foresquare and hollowed to form a vessel, possibly a censer or a brushwasser. The deep crompressed body carved in high relief with stilized scrolling plumage. The base is incised with the four-character Jiaqing yuwan seal mark. L. 14 cm. Estimate 40 000 / 60000 €

CLERMONT-FERRAND – Le musée Guimet réclame à une habitante du Puy-de-Dôme la restitution de deux œuvres d’art japonaises portant l’estampille du musée. Cette habitante affirme les avoir découvertes dans la cave de sa mère et que les peintures avaient été offertes à son grand-père au début du siècle.
