Two blue and white jars. Wanli. Photo Bonhams One with the broad body divided into six vertical panels by shallow grooves, each panel containing a lobed cartouche of birds including hawks, geese and song birds, all reserved on a trellis ground beneath similar small oval fruit and flower cartouches on the shoulder and neck; the second moulded and painted in a very similar manner to the first, two of the upright cartouches depicting a deer standing on a terrace.
