painted in bright green, yellow and aubergine glazes, the animal standing foursquare withits head slightly turned to its right, set with a saddle and a bridle suspending small bells, its striated mane and tail lightly incised, on its right a groom stands wearing loose robes, trousers and a wide-brimmed hat, all raised on a rectangular plinth 16.5cm., 6 1/2 in. Estimate 10,000-15,000 GBP. Lot Sold: 17,500 GBP
