A large green-glazed 'melon-shaped' vase, 18th century. Photo Bonhams Each of the six facets modelled with a raised ridge flanked by fluted lines, running along the body from the spreading foot to the projecting centre and the neck mirroring the lower section, the exterior covered with a bubble-suffused sea-green glaze thinning around the raised sections and pooling at the crevices and over the foot. 35.5cm (13 ¾in) high Provenance: acquired from Jan van Beers, London, in 2006.
