The globular shrine enameled with a lotus meander below jeweled and forward facing lion bands, all on a bright yellow ground, the arched opening to one side accommodating the figure of Buddha seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne, all below a set of thirteen Buddhist umbrellas tapering to a pink draped cap below a blue and iron red treasure vase, the stupa supported on a waisted stepped square base finely painted with floral scrolls between lappet borders on a ruby red ground. Height 17 3/4 inches. Estimate $150,000-200,000
