Carved as a large Buddha's hand citron borne on a leafy, gnarled branch bearing two smaller citrons that forms the openwork handle at one end where one of the citrons is shown at the rim, while the other citron is encased within the leaves of the openwork base, the horn of dark honey-brown color.
Provenance: In the United States by the 1950s.
