the interior carved with a floral medallion below a foliate scroll decorating the well, the everted rim applied with eight prunus blossoms reserved in the biscuit and fired burntorange against the pale olive-green glaze continuing onto the exterior and over the foot ring, leaving an unglazed burnt-orange ring on the base.
PROVENANCE: Acquired in Cuba in 1965, and thence by descent.
