finely potted, the ovoid body rising from a narrow tapered foot to a small cylindrical neck with lipped rim, the body freely carved with an intricate undulating peony scroll, issuing curling leaves and blossoms in fine detail, applied overall with a translucent glaze of warm ivory tone pooling to a slight bluish tone in the recessed areas of the design and neatly ending at the unglazed foot. Height 9 1/2 in., 24.1 cm. Estimation 30,000-40,000 USD. Lot vendu: 37,500 USD
