carved in openwork with a seated female figure wearing a crown and dressed in voluminous robes beneath a pine tree, receiving tributes symbolising longevity from two standing attendants, surrounded by lingzhi fungi and flanked by a pair of cranes, all against a background of craggy and pitted rocks, the translucent stone of a pale yellow tone with russets and natural inclusions, mounted within a wood frame of conforming shape; 9.5 cm., 3 3/4 in.
