the robustly potted globular body rising from a recessed foot, surmounted by a short lipped mouth, painted around the sides with four large lobbed panels, detailed with scholars and their attendants in garden landscapes, interrupted by floral sprigs at the rounded shoulders below a continuous lingzhi scroll, all above a band of upright lappets circling the foot, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within double circles, wood stand.
