The mystery-set calibré-cut sapphire petals, issuing an articulated cascade of pear-shaped diamond stamen, to a pavé-set brilliant-cut diamond trumpet and graduated calibré-cut diamond stem, diamonds approximately 8.60 carats total, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, maker's mark, French assay mark, one sapphire deficient, length 6.5cm. Estimate: £120,000 - 150,000, US$ 190,000 - 240,000
Accompanied by a certificate from CISGEM stating that one diamond is 0.72 carat, E colour, VS1 clarity. Certificate number 73541IAA, dated 1st February 2012.
